Mr. Deaver first met Ronald Reagan during his 1966 campaign for governor of California and eventually became President Reagan's deputy chief of staff during both terms in office. The author talked about his experiences with President Reagan, both professionally and personally. After his presentation, Mr. Deaver answered questions from members of the audience and signed copies of his book.
