National Press Club displays AP's video about war in Ukraine
Responding to a tremendous piece of journalism, the National Press Club received permission from the Associated Press to display a package developed by its photojournalists working in Ukraine called “20 Days in Mariupol: the team that documented the city’s agony.” Images from the piece are displayed on a 70-inch monitor in the Club’s lobby. The AP also agreed to let the Club post the package on its website. This special permission was granted for two weeks. A non-fiction writing prize will recognize a dynamic writer who aims to ignite positive social change through published work on any theme exploring key business and society issues. Son of Cold War spy pilot plans to speak at American Legion Post 20 meeting on Monday, April 11, at Noon
Francis Gary Powers Jr. is expected to be the guest speaker at the National Press Club's American Legion Post 20 in-person meeting on Monday, April 11, at noon in the Club's McClendon Room.
