Corrected election error means one less member elected to Club Board of Governors
The National Press Club miscalculated the number of Board of Governors seats that were up for grabs in last week's election, and therefore one of the candidates previously announced as having been elected to the board did not end up securing a seat. There were only three three-year terms available, rather than the four originally indicated. Incomplete records were to blame for the mix-up. The top three vote-getters for the Journalist seats -- Herb Jackson, Tara Copp and Alisa Parenti -- were elected to the three-year terms.
