The Fourth Estate Restaurant inside the National Press Club plans to host a five-course craft beer dinner with special Author-Chef Adam Dulye on Tuesday, Nov. 5, at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $85.00/single and $160/couple and includes one copy of The Beer Pantry. Democratic Presidential Candidate Andrew Yang speaks at Newsmaker Monday, Oct. 21
Presidential candidate, author and entrepreneur Andrew Yang plans to speak about his “Humanity First” platform at a National Press Club Headliners Newsmakers event at noon on Monday, Oct. 21. The event is open to credentialed media and Club members only. There is no cost to attend, although registration is required and must be completed here. The first-time politician plans to also address his flagship proposal, the Freedom Dividend, human-centered capitalism and his views on the mounting crisis of the automation of labor.

Nov. 19 reception celebrates American Legion Post 20 centennial
National Press Club members, especially veterans, and spouses/guests, are invited to a reception on Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of American Legion Post 20. National Press Club member Anthony Gallo’s two-act play, "The Eaton Woman” was staged at the Kennedy Center's Page-to-Stage Festival, marking his 14th consecutive yearly performance at the festival. The Eaton Woman, largely based on newspaper accounts of that period, is all about morals, adultery, lies, deception, women’s roles in Washington society, the quasi-downfall of President Andrew Jackson's administration, and the most beautiful woman in Washington history.
