Liz Spayd believes in the power of big dreams -- and snail mail. In 1988 -- at age 29 -- Spayd had already put in four years at the Detroit News, where she worked as business editor. The National Press Club's Journalism Institute's Professional Development Committee and the Regional Reporters Association plan to hold an Election 2012 Boot Camp featuring staff from the Federal Election Commission (FEC).
