Marking the 30th anniversary of the release of American Embassy hostages in Iran, an exhibition of photos by Peter Bregg focusing on developments in Iran during the 444 days that the hostages were held will be on display in the National Press Club lobby from Jan. 21 through Feb. 4. Cost projections for heart disease will be released by American Heart Association CEO Nancy Brown at a Newsmaker at noon Monday, Jan. 24. Brown will discuss trends in cardiovascular disease (CVD) in the United States. Her organization has developed a methodology to project future costs of care for hypertension, coronary heart disease, heart failure, stroke and all other forms of CVD from 2010 to 2030.
