Hamrick highlights Newsmakers Committee stalwart Peter Hickman
In his latest blog post, National Press Club President Mark Hamrick highlights the contributions to the Club of longtime Newsmakers Committee member Peter Hickman. By his own count, Hickman has organized more than 1,000 Newsmakers, a Club-sponsored press conference. Hickman specializes in bringing foreign dignitaries and other diplomatic officials to the Club to analyze world events. Mauro named to FOIA Hall of Fame
National Press Club member Tony Mauro has been named to the Freedom of Information Act Hall of Fame, which recognizes people who have worked to promote the people's right to know.
