Prospects for democracy in Arab world to be topic of Tuesday Newsmaker at 10 a.m.
Radwan Masmoudi, president of the Washington, D.C.-based Center for the Study of Islam and Democracy, will speak at an National Press Club Newsmaker news conference Tuesday, March 20, on the topic, "Will Democracy Succeed in the Arab World? Tunisia As a Model.” The event will begin at 10 a.m. Masmoudi recently returned from two months in the Middle East. He visited his native Tunisia and conducted workshops in Egypt, Jordan and Algeria.

Irish dishes replace tacos at St. Patrick’s celebration Friday
The Reliable Source restaurant, which normally exudes the ambiance of Mexico on Friday evenings with its weekly Taco Night buffet, will convert instead to an Irish theme tomorrow night, March 16.
