New Silver and Golden Owls to join flock April 26
New Silver and Golden Owls, the Class of 2012, will be inducted into the flock of longtime National Press Club members when the Owls gather to roost at the Club for their spring "Hoot" April 26. The event salutes the the "long, gray line" of 32 surviving ex-presidents of the National Press Club and 10 surviving ex-presidents of the old Washington Press Club, which merged with the NPC in 1985.
