That was the question host Marvin Kalb put to his panel at the Nov. 16 “The Kalb Report” as they considered the often stormy relationship between the press and the president during more than 200 years of American history. Gail J. McGovern, president and CEO of the American Red Cross, will discuss he progress and challenges of Haiti a year after the earthquake at a luncheon on Thursday, Jan. 12. Tom Young is a former Associated Press broadcast editor and reporter who has leveraged an accomplished military and commercial aviation career to write fiction and non-fiction. Pulitzer Photo Presentation, Noon Nov. 17
Carol Guzy, Washington Post photojournalist, will present a copy of one of her three Pulitzer Prize-winning photos to the Club during a lmeeting of the Photography Committee at noon, Wednesday, Nov. 17, in the McClendon Room.
