Freelancers Can Get On Track at Bootcamp May 15; $15 for Members
Finding work takes on new meaning for freelancers who must hustle forgigs. Spots are still left for the Journalism Survival Bootcamp, a day-long career-oriented program from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, May 15. Trip to Brandy Station Civil War Battlefield July 10
Brandy Station, Va., site of the largest cavalry battle of the Civil War, is the destination for the National Press Club's annual Civil War battlefield trip on Saturday, July 10. Club members and guests will depart the National Press Building by bus at 8:30 a.m., returning at approximately 4:30 p.m. There is no charge for attendees, but Club members are limited to one guest apiece.
