Club to show 'Honor Flight' film on Nov 27; discussion to follow
The National Press Club will screen the film “Honor Flight,” a documentary about a Wisconsin community coming together to fly each of its still-living local World War II veterans to visit the World War II memorial, on Tuesday, Nov. 27. The screening, which will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Ballroom, will be followed by a brief panel discussion. Among the participants will be Dan Hayes, director of the film. Over 300 people -- some glad, some sad -- watch returns at Election Night gala
Even though the party was non-partisan, as the election returns poured in there still was much whooping, yelling, cheering and groaning among the more than 300 attendees at the National Press Club's first-ever Election Night Watch in the Club Ballroom on Tuesday, Nov. 6.
