Law invites members to see performance by award-winning actress on February 3
National Press Club member Janice Law invites other NPC members to a performance by Obie Award-winning actress Brenda Currin at noon on Wednesday, Feb. 3 in the McClendon Room. National Press Club closes due to continuing 'Snowzilla'
The National Press Club is closed on Monday, Jan. 25 as the Nation's Capital continues to dig out from a weekend blizzard that dumped more than a foot and a half of snow in most places. The federal government and schools were also closed, and the Metro system was only operating limited subway service underground.

Selective Service System chief plans to discuss registering women at Newsmaker, Jan. 29
Lawrence G. Romo, director of the Selective Service System, plans to discuss registering women for any future draft at a National Press Club Newsmaker on Jan. 29 at 10 a.m. in the NPC's Zenger Room. Like all Newsmakers events, it is open to credentialed media and NPC members, free of charge. No advance registration is required.
