Get those entries ready for annual NPC members' photo exhibit
It's time to get your two best photos printed and mounted for the 18th annual National Press Club members' photo exhibit. Entries will be accepted from July 31 to Aug. 11. The exhibit is the Club's annual celebration of visual storytelling by its members. The exhibit runs in September in the Club's main lobby. Because of space limitations, members can enter no more than two photos in the main exhibit that have not been previously displayed at the Club. The National Press Club's monthly Books and Brunch will meet on Saturday, Feb. 24 at noon in the Club's Fourth Estate. "The Sellout" by Paul Beatty, the first American to win the Man Booker Award, will be discussed. The novel is a comic satire highlighting much of the hypocrisy in a so-called post-racist America.
