Washington Post and New York Times executive editors on Kalb Report Monday, Oct. 16
As the President of the United States has challenged the legitimacy of journalism, moderator Marvin Kalb has invited Marty Baron and Dean Baquet, the executive editors of The Washington Post and The New York Times, to talk about how the news media should respond on TV's The Kalb Report. General membership meeting, noon Oct. 13
The National Press Club will hold a general membership meeting for all Club members at noon Friday, Oct. 13, in the conference rooms. Members will hear from the Club's leadership about all of the progress being made and exciting things happening at the world's leading professional organization of journalists. Also on the agenda will be a discussion and vote on a proposal for a modest dues increase in keeping with the Club’s past practice. And there's a free lunch. See you there!
