The National Press Club’s Reliable Source will host an election watch party at 6 p.m. today in the Truman Lounge. Watch the results of the midterm elections come in on widescreen TVs. Hedrick Smith to keynote Silver Owls Fall Hoot, Oct. 26
Hedrick Smith, a prize winning journalist, author, and documentary maker will headline the National Press Club Silver Owls' Fall Hoot at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, in the ballroom. Love books? Volunteer at the Book Fair, Nov. 2
The National Press Club's 41st annual Book Fair needs volunteers to escort authors, greet customers, hand out bags and help wherever needed when book lovers descend on the ballroom on Friday, Nov. 2. The book fair runs from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The volunteer will work either the 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. shift or the 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. shift leaving volunteers plenty of time to do their own shopping.
