A clam bake and jazz -- a double feature at the Reliable Source, April 25
The National Press Club's Reliable Source restaurant will combine two events -- its annual Clam Bake Buffet and another of its series of Jazz Nights -- for what promises to be a gala evening Thursday, April 25. The "Can't Wait for Summer" buffet will be served from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. (Menu below.) House and Bar Team to meet Monday
The National Press Club's House and Bar Team will meet at noon Monday, April 15, in the John Cosgrove Memorial Lounge. Please note this is one week later than the usual meeting date on the second Monday of the month. The team is recruiting new members, with the goal of adding a representative from every other Club committee to broaden the input we receive from members. A Double Whammy -- insights into investigative reporting and entertainment -- awaits members who attend the Friday, May 3, Spring Hoot of the National Press Club’s Silver Owls. Kevin Hall, a Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter, will not only speak and also has arranged a musical group, the “Truth Tellers,” to perform at the event. Tax Day is Magic Day at Club, April 15
Celebrate finishing your taxes with an evening of magic. Five members of the Society of American Magicians will perform a family-friendly magic show at the National Press Club Monday, April 15, in the conference rooms at 7 p.m. A special kids menu for families will be available in the Reliable Source and a walk-around magician performing there before the show.
