The new Max documentary series "Call Me Ted" — an inside look at media titan Ted Turner, founder of Cable News Network, the first 24-hour news station — will be screened for National Press Club members and their guests on April 4 at 6 p.m. in the Fourth Estate Room at the Club. American Legion Post 20 will honor Vietnam veterans and legendary Vietnam journalist at April 9 luncheon
Vietnam veterans will be honored at the April 9 luncheon meeting of American Legion Post 20, which is affiliated with the National Press Club. The meeting will take place at noon in the McClendon Room. The guest speaker will be Maj. Gen.Edward J. Chrystal, Jr., director of the U.S. Vietnam War Commemoration.
