The most famous photo made at the National Press Club was taken 80 years this month. To celebrate that image, Club historian Gil Klein of the History and Heritage Team will present a multimedia program focusing on Harry Truman and the Press Club on Friday, Feb. 28, at 4 p.m. in the Fourth Estate Room. The event is free to members and guests but registration is required. Young Members of the National Press Club are gathering for a social on Friday, March 7, at 5:30 p.m. in the Reliable Source’s Cosgrove Lounge. Young Members are those who are 35 years old or younger. The National Press Club Scholarship Team is seeking volunteers this spring to review and select recipients for all 2025 NPC scholarships. Each judge commits to: Reviewing applications for one of the five scholarship opportunities offered by the Club.
