Photo Team plans to hear report from Ukraine, Feb. 19
National Press Club member Flavius Mihaies plans to talk about the impact of the war in Ukraine on the country's Orthodox church at the next meeting of the Club' s Photography Team on Wednesday, Feb. 19, at noon. LexisNexis is a subscription-based database of legal, business, government, high-tech, and news articles. Greater Good Science Center at UC Berkeley to award grants for reporting on love
The Greater Good Science Center at University of California at Berkeley is now accepting proposals from journalists and other nonfiction media producers for grants to report and produce stories on love. To apply for funding, applicants must submit their proposal by March 24. Applications open for 2025 Columbia Energy Journalism Fellows program
Applications are now open for the 2025 Energy Journalism Fellows (EJF) program from Columbia University’s Center on Global Energy Policy. Each year, EJF brings a diverse group of 20 energy and environment reporters — generally with five years of experience or less — to Columbia to meet and learn from some of the world’s leading energy experts and enhance their networks. Tour of Club's Broadcast Operations Center is Friday
Get an insider look at the National Press Club’s Broadcast Operations Center at 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28. Register online. Randy Hall, the Club's director of facilities and media, will lead the tour of the facility, which features two studios, two post-production suites and transmission services via satellite, fiber or IP. Starting Monday, March 3, you must use your new ID card to access the Club. Old fobs and mobile access will be deactivated.
