'Life of Pi' on tap at Dinner and Movie Night this Thursday

This fantasy film is based off the 2001 best-selling novel and tells the story of one man’s 227-day survival aboard a boat stranded with a tiger. As more of our members work out of mobile offices, the Club's 14th-floor work space increases in importance as a member benefit. Because of that, I wanted to take a moment to make sure we all know some good rules to live by so this space can be useful in a professional context for all members who want to use it. Creator of "Second Glance" to Address Photo Committee
Randy Mays, creator of the Washington Post Magazine puzzle feature "Second Glance," will speak to the Photography Committee at noon Wednesday, May 29, in the McClendon Room. All Club members and their guests are welcome. No reservations are required. Mays will discuss why he changes the things he does and how he does it. He created "Second Glance" in 2007 and has over 300 of these puzzles to date. Club Member Buth Becomes American Legion Commander for D.C.
Jonathan Buth, a past commander of the Club's American Legion Post 20, was elected Commander of American Legion's Department of the District of Columbia on Sunday, May 19. He will hold the position, equivalent to a state American Legion commander, for one year. The D.C. Department represents nearly 2,000 members from 23 posts. Buth retired from the Air Force in 1995 after a 27-year career as an officer and pharmacist.
