Rick Dunham recognized for top political reporting
Add another name to the list of National Press Club members who recently have received recognition for their achievements in political reporting. Rick Dunham, Washington bureau chief of the Houston Chronicle, has been named one of the best state-based political reporters of 2013, by the “The Fix” column in The Washington Post. The National Press Club has negotiated a special Press Club Rate for members to attend the Barbara Walters gala award luncheon for excellence in journalism to be hosted by the American News Women’s Club (ANWC) in the NPC Ballroom on Friday, June 21. An all-star cast of journalists will be in attendance, including Ted Koppel, Tom Brokaw, Sallie Quinn, Howard Kurtz and Norah O’Donnell.
