National Press Club officers plan to report on the state of the organization at a general membership meeting at noon Friday, May 9. A buffet lunch is expected to be served beginning at noon with the meeting will being called to order at 12:15 p.m. Please RSVP to [email protected]. Longtime Press Club members organize the Silver Owls Spring Hoot on May 1 at 6 p.m.
Thirty-one new Silver Owls of the National Press Club will be inducted and welcomed at the Spring Hoot, along with five new Golden Owls and two new Platinum Owls. All will be inducted at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 1. Press Club members of all ages are welcome to the Hoot, which includes a sit-down dinner preceded by a cash bar.
