Online voting for Club offices begins today, Nov. 11
For the first time, National Press Club members will be able to vote for club officers and members online using a computer, mobile device or tablet. Online voting opens at 8 a.m. EST, Monday, Nov. 11 and concludes at 7 p.m. EST Wednesday, Dec. 11. The Membership department will have a computer available in the General Offices, Monday thru Friday between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. if you would like staff assistance. NPC Member Andrea McCarren wins regional Murrow Award
National Press Club member Andrea McCarren was honored with a regional Edward R. Murrow Award this week for her 2013 story about a Muslims of America compound in rural Virginia. Her story will now be considered for a national Murrow Award which will be announced later this year. McCarren is a reporter for WUSA-TV, Channel 9, the CBS affiliate in Washington. This is the third time her work has been recognized with a regional Murrow Award.
