Club to close Dec. 25 and Jan. 1, Fourth Estate also to close on Dec. 24
The National Press Club will close on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1. In addition, the Fourth Estate will close on Dec. 24. These limited closures mean that members looking for ways to entertain holiday season visitors can bring them to the Club before and after Christmas Day and New Year's Day. And, of course, members can enjoy all the benefits of the Club as well.

Renovated fitness center reopens today
The National Press Club Fitness Center will reopen on Monday, Dec. 16. A fresh coat of paint, energy efficient LED lights and a durable rubber flooring have been installed. More improvements are coming soon. A new 5 Lb-70 Lb rubber coated dumbbell set will be installed and the main entrance to the fitness center will be restored with a new door. The Fitness Center, on the 14th floor, offers members and staff the use of free weights, Nautilus equipment, ellipticals, treadmills, men and women's locker rooms and a full-time professional trainer. Election Day is here! Please join us in the Reliable Source as we reveal the results of the 2019 National Press Club Election at 7:30 p.m. tonight. Online voting closes today at 4 p.m. and switches to in-person voting outside of the 14th Floor President’s Suite from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. For members attending Taco Night please stay to congratulate our new leadership and enjoy celebratory champagne. Fitness Center to close through Dec. 16 for renovation
The National Press Club Fitness Center’s-weight and exercise room will close temporarily from Thursday, Dec. 5, until Monday, Dec. 16. The Club is replacing the existing carpet with a resilient rubber surface that will have slip-resistance and is designed to reduce body fatigue, mute noise levels, and provide superior impact absorption. The shower and restroom facility will remain open. We apologize for this temporary inconvenience.
