NPC Members Can Buy Tickets for Gridiron Reprise
Club members can buy tickets for the Gridiron Club's Sunday reprise, traditionally staged for friends and family. The Gridiron's white-tie dinner has taken place for 126 years, and features songs and skits that singe -- not burn -- the president, congressional leaders and others. Members of the Washington press corps sing and dance in costume. The reprise will be held on Sunday, March 9, in the ballroom of the Washington Renaissance Hotel, 999 Ninth Street NW. The Club's tennis group will play Saturday, Jan. 25 at Rock Creek Park Tennis Center. Photographer to Discuss His Panoramic Pictures at Photo Committee Meeting Jan. 23
Abbas Shirmohammadi, a Washington-based photographer known for his panoramic images, will speak at the Club's Photo Committee meeting, Thursday, Jan. 23, at noon in the McClendon Room.
