Emily Dickinson scholars to meet at Club, Nov. 6
Member Janice Law invites Club members to a panel of Emily Dickinson scholars who will discuss "Emily Dickinson as a Comedienne?" at noon Wednesday, Nov. 6 in the McClendon Room. Panelists Martha Nell Smith, founding board member of the ED International Society (EDIS) and Nelly Lewis Lambert, secretary of EDIS will be joined by staff of the Library of Congress rare book section. National Press Club members and their guests are invited to the Reliable Source on Book Fair Night for the Annual Book and Author/Roast Beef Buffet night to be held Thursday, Nov. 19. The buffet opens at 5:30 p.m. Enjoy the Club's traditional roast beef dinner and much more before or after you enjoy holiday shopping at the Club's annual book fair.
