Online voting for National Press Club offices begins today, Nov. 10
Online voting for National Press Club officers and board members starts today and runs through Thursday, Dec. 11 at 5 p.m. Paper ballots will be available at the Press Club on Election Day, Friday, Dec. 12 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Members can log in and click here to read candidate statements and to vote. A step-by-step guide to online voting is available here. The Membership department will have a computer available in the General Offices, Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. if you would like staff assistance.

Pub Quiz returns to NPC's Truman Lounge tonight
All National Press Club members are invited to participate in the upcoming Pub Quiz in the NPC's Truman Lounge on Thursday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. Pub Quiz is an evening of trivia, food, drinks and prizes. SPJ panel plans to feature top obituary writers in Washington area
Members of the National Press Club can sign up and attend a Nov. 19 Society of Professional Journalists program on obituary writing at the special reduced member rate. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 19, from 6 to 8 p.m., at The Washington Post, 1150 Fifteenth St. NW. Veterans' advocate Duff to speak at Post 20 meeting Nov. 5
Retired Marine Corp gunnery sergeant and veterans' advocate Jessie Jane Duff will be guest speaker at the next meeting of National Press Club's American Legion Post 20 at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 5, in the Game Room. Orchowski attends 100th anniversary of high school paper she edited
