Did you know that the National Press Club hosts a monthly trivia night? Called "Pub Quiz," it's always a popular event. The next edition -- a great chance to put your brain to work and enjoy fun companionship at the same time -- will be held Thursday, Sept. 11, at 7 p.m. in the Truman Lounge of NPC's Reliable Source restaurant. No need to reserve. Bring your own team or show up and join one. Pub Quiz is open only to Club members and their guests.

Members' Photo Exhibit opens with reception, Wednesday, Sept. 3, 6:30 p.m.
A reception honoring National Press Club members whose photos are displayed in the 15th Annual NPC Members' Photo Exhibit will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 3, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Club's First Amendment Lounge. All Club members and their guests are welcome. Reservations are not required. A cash bar will be available, and dinner reservations are highly recommended. Zip around with Zipcar; Club offers discounted annual membership
The National Press Club is partnering with Zipcar to provide you with a discounted annual membership. Current NPC members can sign up for an annual Zipcar membership at 50% off. The National Press Club's Photography Committee will host its 15th Annual Members’ Photo Exhibit reception at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, in the First Amendment Lounge. The date listed in a mailing of September NPC meetings and events sent to Club members Thursday was incorrect. Crab Fest returns to Reliable Source Sept. 18
By popular demand of NPC Members, the Club's annual Crab Fest buffet is back! Celebrate the end of summer by sinking your your teeth into the succulent crustaceans at the renewal of the popular event on Thursday, Sept. 18, starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Reliable Source restaurant. Open to members and their guests, cost of the buffet is $35 per person for members and $45 for nonmembers, plus tax and gratuity. National Press Club offers flu shots to staff, members, guests, Oct. 15
The National Press Club Fitness Center plans to sponsor flu shots on Oct. 15 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Bloomberg Room. The cost is $25 per person. Staff, members and their guest are welcome. Medicare Part B will be accepted. Sign-up is available at the NPC Front Desk and in the Fitness Center. The National Press Club's Reliable Source is planning a variety of events for September. Thursday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. in the Truman Lounge is the Pub Quiz: Press Club members and guest gathering once a month for a trivia competition complete with prizes.
