NPC Member Morgan to appear in Discovery TV promo Feb. 5
NPC member Carol Morgan will appear on a 30-second promotion Feb. 5 about an upcoming Discovery TV show, ``Deadly Sins,'' about the 7 Deadly Sins. Carol was the lead extra in the film. She appears as a working-class woman, lighting candles in the historic Corpus Christi Catholic Church on the grounds of Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. Carol has regularly appeared in stage performances and conducts monthly poetry readings at the Georgetown Retirement Center. She has studied voice and acting.

Events Committee focuses on social media, politics, entertainment; announces meeting
The NPC Events Committee will have its first meeting of 2012 on Tuesday, February 7, at 8 a.m. in the McClendon Room. Please RSVP if you plan to attend. In 2012, the Events Committee will focus on three key program areas: social and entertainment, the "Get It Online" series, and political events. These will support membership recruitment and retention. The committee will also continue to partner with other committees and outside organizations.
