Batters up! NPC coed softball team seeks players
The National Press Club's official softball team is gearing up for another season in the Metropolitan Media Softball League, Washington, D.C.'s only league from print and broadcast organizations. The season begins on April 21. Games are played on Saturday mornings in the Wheaton area of Montgomery County. All Club members are eligible to join the coed team, which last year won a division championship in the league. If interested, e-mail John Domen at [email protected] for more information.

National Press Club Golden Owl Dawson "Tack" Nail, 82, who spent more than 50 years as one of the most prominent reporters covering broadcasting and telecommunications in Washington, died Friday, March 25, from complications following a fall at his Virginia home March 24.
