Lawn to receive Queen's Honour at New Zealand Embassy
Member Connie Lawn has been appointed as an Honorary Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit, for service to New Zealand - USA relations. She will receive a Queen's Honour May 10 at the New Zealand Embassy in Washington. Lawn was the Radio New Zealand's Washington correspondent for more than twenty years.

Young's military thriller coming in paperback
Tom Young's novel Silent Enemy will be released in paperback on June 5. A military thriller published by Putnam in hardcover last year, Silent Enemy received a starred review from "Publishers Weekly." Young is a former writer, editor, and newsroom supervisor for the broadcast division of the Associated Press and an Air National Guard veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.
