NPC members to vote on $1 a month dues increase
National Press Club members at the General Membership Meeting on Friday, Oct. 5 at noon will be asked to approve a $1 per month dues increase. The proposed increase, approved by the NPC Board of Governors, would apply to all membership categories except students, spouses, partners, widows and inactives, whose dues would remain unchanged. NPC hosts Oktoberfest Buffet Night on Thursday, Oct. 18
NPC Members and their guests are invited to a special buffet dinner with music by accordion player Roy Beyer on Thursday, Oct. 18 at 5:30 p.m. in the Reliable Source. This Oktoberfest evening of food and music was arranged at the request of members. Enjoy the festivities and our international cuisine prepared by Executive Chef Susan Delbert. Owls to salute the lighter side of politics at their Oct. 27 hoot
Ten days before the national election, the Silver Owls will salute the lighter side of American politics when they gather at the National Press Club at noon on Saturday, Oct. 27, for their final “hoot” of 2012. A highlight will be a presentation on the activities of U.S. presidents and presidential candidates at the Club throughout its 104-year history.
