Friday last day to sign nomination petitions for 2013 officers, board
Nominations will close at 5 p.m. today, Friday, Oct. 26, for all five officer positions as well as four Journalist board members and one Communicator member. Journalists sign petitions for Journalist positions, including club officers, and Communicators sign for Communicator positions. Nominations close Friday for club board, officer elections
Nominations for 2013 National Press Club board and officer positions will close at 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26. There are four open board positions for members in journalist categories - three three-year terms and a one-year term to fill the unexpired term of current Board Chairman John Hughes, who has submitted his resignation in order to run for Club treasurer. There is also one three-year opening for a communicator member of the board. Press Club officers serve one-year terms, so all five positions -- president, vice president, secretary, treasurer and membership secretary -- are also open.…
