Historian David McCullough on special daytime Kalb Report on May 12
Pulitzer Prize-winning historian David McCullough will join host Marvin Kalb on Thursday, May 12, to talk about the Founding Fathers, Freedom of the Press and America’s Future. Unlike all previous Kalb Reports, this one will begin at 11 a.m. The event will be held in the National Press Club's Holeman Lounge, so seating is very limited. Did You Know that the Club has a softball team?
The Club’s softball team plays in the Metropolitan Media Softball League in Montgomery County. The next game is on Saturday, April 23, at Layhill Park. All NPC members and spouses are eligible to play. There is no cost to join the team. All games are played on Saturday mornings through the end of June. Newseum Photography Director to speak to Photo Committee on Wednesday April 20
Indira Williams Babic, Director of Photography and Visual Resources at the Newseum, will speak to a luncheon meeting of the National Press Club's Photography Committee, Wednesday, April 20, at noon in the McClendon Room.
