Journalists and the people they cover to discuss civility Aug. 4
Reporters, press secretaries and outside observers will convene at the Club on Friday, Aug. 4, to discuss ways of improving the discourse on Capitol Hill. The Ann Cottrell Free Animal Reporting Award honors the best journalism on animals and their welfare each year. The award is given as part of the National Press Club journalism contest. The Michael Dornheim Award is presented in honor of the late Michael A. Dornheim, a longtime reporter and editor at Aviation Week & Space Technology magazine.
