The National Press Club is hosting its annual Press vs. Politicians Spelling Bee on Tuesday, Sept. 26. The Bee has confirmed a great list of contestants. The Politicians Team includes: Rep. The National Press Club's Legends of Broadcasting series continues with a dinner conversation with long-time Washington television anchor Maureen Bunyan on Thursday, October 5. NPC Book Fair & Authors' Night still accepting author applications
The region’s premiere holiday book event is back for the 40th year and continues to accept author applications through 5 pm on Friday, Sept. 29. The application fee of $75 for National Press Club members and $150 for non-members is due and payable upon acceptance to the Book Fair. Press vs. Politicians Spelling Bee, Sept. 26
Relationships between politicians and the media who cover them are constantly being highlighted, but on Tuesday, Sept. 26, in the National Press Club’s historic ballroom, fun and friendly competition will prevail as lawmakers and reporters compete in the uproariously entertaining Press vs. Politicians Spelling Bee. Join National Press Club President Jeff Ballou on Saturday, Sept. 16, for a trip and private wine-tasting event to the enchanting Greenhill Winery.
