World Bank President Jim Yong Kim plans to appear at a National Press Club Headliners Luncheon on Nov. 20 in the Club’s Holeman Lounge to outline recent trends in the global economy. Today is the last day to submit your author applications for the National Press Club’s annual Book Fair and Author’s Night. Applications received after the Friday Sept. 29, 5 p.m. deadline will not be reviewed. All literary genres are considered, however self-published books and books only available in e-format will not be accepted. The application fee of $75 for Club members and $150 for non-members is due and payable upon acceptance to the Book Fair.
