Marine Corps Brig. Gen. William Seely III, director of the Office of Marine Corps Communications, will address the Club's American Legion Post 20 on Tuesday. The event will begin at noon in the McClendon Room. Seely oversees Marine Corps public affairs, including media and community relations. A 28-year veteran, his many operational deployments have included four tours of duty in Iraq. A graduate of American University, he received his commission through the Navy ROTC program at George Washington University.

The Fourth Estate restaurant will host its final Lobster Night of the year on Friday. A steamed 1½-pound Maine Lobster with a glass of wine or beer, cole slaw (or salad), a choice of French fries or oven-crisped new potatoes and dessert is $50, with a 15 percent discount for members.
