Fourth Estate closed for July 4 holiday weekend
The National Press Club will be closed Saturday, July 1, through Tuesday, July 4, in celebration of Independence Day. There will be no brunch or dinner service in the Fourth Estate on Saturday, July 1, or lunch service on Monday, July 3. The restaurant will re-open on Wednesday, July 5.

Tonight: NY Times correspondent plans to discuss his new Obama book
Peter Baker, chief White House correspondent for the New York Times, plans to appear at a Headliners Book Rap Thursday, June 29, to discuss his new book, Obama:The Call of History. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Club's Conference Rooms. The Book Rap will include a discussion with the author, a question-and-answer session from the audience and then a signing session Tickets are $5 for Club members and $10 for the general public.
