Tuesday Newsmaker with Pakistani ambassador postponed
A National Press Club Newsmaker.with Masood Khan, Pakistani ambassador to the U.S. that was originally scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 29, has been postponed. No new date has been announced. Kahn was to have discussed the ongoing reconstruction from the flooding that hit the country earlier this year. The country has been hit with devastating floods, which covered more than one-third of Pakistan and killed almost 1,700 people. The floods haven been blamed on climate change, most notably excessive rains as Indian Ocean temperatures rise and rapid, early melting of the mountain snowcaps.
