Leaders from the several good-government and advocacy groups will review state-by-state election law changes set to take effect in 2022 at a National Press Club Headliners panel at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13. The National Press Club will be closed Monday, Jan. 17, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Did you know? In January 2016, a historic plaque was placed at the entrance to the Club Ballroom commemorating the July 19, 1962, speech King made at the Club. Read about that speech here.

Jen Judson took the gavel last week as the 115th president of the National Press Club but set an April inauguration as the Club continues to deal with challenges related to the coronavirus pandemic.
