The 36th Annual Book Fair and Authors’ Night, in partnership with Politics and Prose, will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 19 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Apply to be a featured author at one of the premier literary events in the District. Mid-career journalists can get on-camera training on Saturday, July 27 from 10 am. to noon at the National Press Club's Broadcast Operations Center on the 4th floor. Transportation Secretary LaHood to make farewell remarks at National Press Club Newsmaker event
Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood, who is stepping down after more than four years at the department's helm, will make his farewell remarks at a Newsmakers news conference on Thursday, June 27 at 10 a.m. in the First Amendment Lounge.
