The deadline for entering the National Press Club journalism contest has been extended until April 15. The Club wants to see your best journalism from 2013 in its contest, so if you’ve got an entry, send it in now. The deadline was April 1 but has been extended for two weeks. Joe David will discuss his new book, "The Infidels," at 6:30 p.m. April 14 in the National Press Club conference rooms. Smart, critical coverage of the media is recognized each year by the Arthur Rowse Award for Press Criticism.
