Meet Bender from 'Futurama' at 'I Know That Voice' screening Nov. 8
The National Press Club will host the East Coast premiere of the voice acting documentary, "I Know That Voice" on Friday, Nov. 8, at 6 p.m. in the National Press Club's conference rooms. The film’s executive producer, Annie award-winning and Emmy-nominated voice actor John DiMaggio, will introduce the film and answer questions after the screening, followed by a meet-and-greet and signing. Fourth Estate and Blues Alley will present jazz players tonight
The Fourth Estate will host Jazz Night in conjunction with Blues Alley, Georgetown's home for jazz, Wednesday, Nov. 6, as they do the first Wednesday of each month. Tonight kicks off the winter jazz scene in Washington, D.C. with some cool and comfortable foods. The Silver Owls of the National Press Club will confer the Order of the Owl on Washington Post columnist Petula Dvorak at the Owls' Fall Hoot noon Saturday at the club.
