University of Virginia President Teresa Sullivan will discuss the relationship between higher education and the evolving labor market at a Club Luncheon on Monday, Dec. 1. Sullivan became president of Virginia’s flagship university in 2010. She is a scholar in labor force demography and the author or coauthor of six books and many scholarly articles. Her most recent research has focused on measuring productivity in higher education. An international news and sports photography contest, the Istanbul Photo Awards, organized by the Anadolu Agency, is now accepting entries. Photographers are invited to enter in any of the following categories: news single and news story, for an individual news photo or a collection around a story, and sports single and sports story.
