U.S. Labor Secretary Thomas Perez will speak at a National Press Club luncheon on Monday, Oct. 20, with a speech entitled "Shared Prosperity: Building an Economy that Works for Everyone." Former television journalist Marvin Kalb, winner of the Club's prestigious Fourth Estate Award in 2006, will be the first guest at the Broadcast Committee's planned series of dinners featuring legends of broadcast news.
