The wife of a well-known Chinese human rights lawyer asked President Barack Obama to work to bring her husband, Gao Zhisheng, to the U.S. to reunite with his family and receive needed medical treatment. Wife of tortured Chinese human rights lawyer to plead for his release at Tuesday Newsmaker
The wife of renowned Chinese human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng will make a pubic appeal for her husband’s release to the United States at a National Press Club Newsmaker news conference on Tuesday, Sept. 9, at 10 a.m. in the Zenger Room.
