Enrique Pena Nieto, 45, who completed his term as Governor of the State of Mexico in September 2011 and will likely run for president of Mexico, will take questions from journalists at a Newsmaker press conference 12:30 p.m. Nov. 15 in the Zenger Room. Peno Nieto will address U.S.-Mexican relations on trade, security, immigration and the economy. U.S. Postmaster General Patrick R. Donahoe will reveal more details about his plans for fixing the U.S. Postal Services’ financial troubles at a National Press Club luncheon Monday, Nov. 21. Donahoe, who was named to head the USPS a little more than a year ago, will explain his reasons for cutting thousands of jobs, closing thousands of local Post Offices and possibly ending Saturday delivery. Saudi prince to discuss Iran assassination plot, women's rights, Palestinian UN membership, 11:30 am Nov. 15
Prince Turki al-Faisal al Sa'ud of Saudi Arabia, former Saudi ambassador to the United States and former head of the Saudi intelligence service, will discuss an alleged Iranian plot to assassinate the current Saudi ambassador. The Newsmaker will take place at an 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15.
