Books & Brunch will discuss "Land of Marvels" by Barry UnswortH at noon on Saturday, March 20, in the Fourth Estate Restaurant. The Onion returns to the National Press Club at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, for "The Onion Presents: 2009's Biggest Stories." There is no admission charge. Roberts at Dec. 14 Young Members Meeting; RSVP Required
Author and journalist Steve V. Roberts will meet with members of the Young Members Committee at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, in the McClendon Room. RSVPs are required for the holiday Cocktails with Champions, and space is limied. Cocktails with Champions offers budding journalists the opportunity to get advice on stories or job tips from renowned journalists in a less intimidating setting.
